Luis Suarez was guilty of letting a wonderful hat-trick opportunity pass him by
Luis Suarez may have scored four goals in Barcelona's astonishing 8-0 win over Deportivo on Wednesday evening... but it really should have been five.
The striker had bagged two goals and looked certain to complete his hat-trick on 34 minutes when a cross from Dani Alves found him just six yards out in front of goal.
But somehow he managed to hit his effort over the target.

Suarez did get his third in the second half as Barca cut the hosts' defence to shreds and he added a fourth a few minutes later for good measure.
The result sees Barca remain top of La Liga, level on points with Atletico Madrid and one clear of Real Madrid who also won on Wednesday evening.
Brief highlights from Barcelona's thumping 8-0 win away at Deportivo La Coruna
